We examine your natural nail beds, review inspiration photos, and custom-design a set that fits your lifestyle.
03 Prepare
Precision e-file cuticle care without soaking. Wooden tools are single-use; stainless tools are autoclaved.
04 Create
We reinforce with a BIAB apex base, then hand-paint custom gel overlays or buff chrome designs.
05 Finish
Conclude with a high-shine top coat, organic apricot oil, and a light massage to lock in hydration.

At Muse Nail Atelier, we prioritize natural nail integrity. We focus on non-acidic formulas, physical cuticle protection, and detailed, gentle product transitions.
Tool Sanitation
All metal instruments undergo medical-grade sterilization in a dry-heat autoclave pouch, opened strictly in your presence. Single-use wooden files are discarded after every set.
Clean Workstation
Disinfected tables and custom high-vacuum dust catchers collect residue instantly, maintaining clean breathing air and preventing cross-contamination.
Meticulous Cuticle Care
We practice Russian-style dry manicure prep. By avoiding cuticle soaking (which causes nails to swell and subsequent gel lifting), we ensure clean margins and safe trimming.
Healthy wear Expectations
Standard gel sets last 2-3 weeks, while structured gel sets (BIAB) last 3-4 weeks. Sofia recommends rebalancing sets regularly to keep the structural apex balanced.
When we recommend a break
While structured builder gel shields weak nail plates, we put health first. Sofia will never hide underlying issues.
- Severe Plate Thinning: If past acrylic sets stripped your nail bed to a translucent layer, we may recommend a short break or standard protective base treatments first.
- Active Separation (Onycholysis): When the nail lifts from the bed, trapping gel can cause bacterial infections. We will clean it and recommend keeping it bare until recovered.
- Responsibility Note: These recommendations are for protective nail health care only and do not substitute for professional medical advice.

If you want standard, long-lasting color on your natural nails, book the Essential Gel Manicure. If your nails are weak, bendy, or you want them to grow longer with maximum strength, book the Structured Gel Manicure (BIAB). If you want instant length, select Soft Gel Extensions. For hand-painted details, go for the Custom Nail Art Session.

Policies & Etiquette
To maintain a calm environment and respect the dedicated time set aside for each client, we operate under the following guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.
Deposits & Cancellations
All appointments require a $25 deposit to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable, but it is fully transferable to a rescheduled slot if you notify us at least 48 hours prior to your session.
Late Arrivals & Re-booking
We offer a 15-minute grace period. If you are running late, please send a text. Arriving past 15 minutes may require us to shorten your service or reschedule, and late cancellation policies will apply.
One-on-One Atmosphere
Because the studio is a small, intimate private workspace dedicated to relaxation and focused work, we kindly ask that you do not bring extra guests or children to your appointment.
Complimentary Repairs
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you experience any chipping, lifting, or product issues within 7 days of your set, please text us for a complimentary repair session.
Removal of Outside Work
We safely remove gel and builder gel from other salons for an additional fee. However, we do not work with or remove hard acrylics or dip powder. Please have them removed elsewhere before booking.
Photo & Design Consent
Sofia captures close-up images of completed sets for social posts. If you prefer to opt out or want your hands kept private, just let Sofia know during your consultation.
